Depending on the season, you see different stages of production, from fermenting barrels to finished bottles, while Dirk and Michelle walk everyone through each wine and the story behind it. The atmosphere is relaxed and unscripted, shaped entirely by your group’s interest and the questions you bring. Dirk and Michelle both emigrated from South Africa in 2003 and built a winemaking approach shaped by South African heritage and European palate. For families who want to extend the visit, the 90-minute vineyard and cellar tour covers grape growing and winemaking from start to finish, with samples straight from the barrel and bottle.
